Install
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you’re using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari (or have turned off Safari’s open safe files preference), click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
How To Use
Simply start dragging an image file, show the Dashboard (by pressing F12,) and then drop inside the frame. You can drag images directly from your iPhoto Library and even right from Safari or other web browsers. To monitor a webcam, just drag the webcam image from your browser to FrameUp! and set the refresh interval on the back of the frame. You’ll need the actual webcam image which can usually be obtained by control clicking on the webcam image and choosing “Copy Image Address”. Then paste the address in the browser’s address field to load the image. Then drag the resulting image to FrameUp!
